Clean, modern, comfort in great area
This was a clean, modern apt with a loft bedroom and full bath upstairs and a sofa bed in the living room with a (larger) full bath downstairs. Looks exactly like the posted photos. Great location in nice, safe Recoleta neighborhood. Excellent Wi-Fi Decent sized balcony, but no real view (we were on the 8th floor) 7 minute walk to Agüero Sube (subway station). The shower water was hot, but the pressure could've been better. Comfortable couch with pull out The upstairs loft had a full size bed which was softer than most other beds in Argentina. Nice closets both upstairs and downstairs. Flat screen smart TVs both upstairs and downstairs with Netflix, etc. Easy check in and check out, owner contacted me by WhatsApp through Booking. - I added the number from booking to my phone's contact list before I left the US and the owner contacted me about a week before arrival to confirm and leave check-in instructions. * Be prepared to pay in cash on arrival; US dollars. This apartment and host were wonderful and I'd stay here again.
The barstools are really just for show as they are too high and too uncomfortable to use, but it wasn't a big deal. The rooftop was much smaller than it looks in the pictures, and didn't have much of a view. The pool was small and cloudy. We didn't swim in it. The elevator door closes quickly and with a fury, so don't delay or you'll get smashed like I did. After the first time, my friend and I turned it into a game where we tried to distract each other whenever we entered the elevator in the hopes that the doors would smash whoever wasn't paying attention, so it was quite entertaining for us. The apt is next to the firestation so there was some shouting and sirens that week because it was New Year's. It didn't bother us though.
